The Barnesville-Lamar County Library is a member of the Flint River Regional Library System, which is comprised of Butts, Fayette, Lamar, Monroe, Pike and Spalding Counties. The Barnesville-Lamar County Library receives State funding and a County subsidy. They are dedicated to providing a current collection of popular materials for users of all ages and interest. Patrons enjoy free access to more than 30,000 items including best-sellers, paperbacks, large print materials, audiobooks, popular DVDs, newspapers, magazines, online databases, e-books and State partnership passes. Children and Teen programs are provided weekly during the school year. During the summer, children can register for the very popular Summer reading Club.

Libby

Libby is the Flint River Regional Library System’s digital

 eBook and audiobook service.

How to use Libby:

1. Download the Libby app in the Google Play, Kindle App Store, or Apple App Store, or go to Libbyapp.com in your internet browser. 

Follow the prompts. If you do not have a library card, visit your local library or register for an e-card at frrls.net/librarycard

1. When prompted, choose “I’ll search for a library.”

2. Search for “Georgia Download Destination.” 

3. Enter your library card number. 

4. Now you’re ready to browse for eBooks and audiobooks!

5. Click “borrow” to check out items or “place hold” to put items on hold.  

6. Click on “shelf” to see the items you have checked out or on hold.
